Allegra has multiple personalities.

She's a lamb with big sleepy eyes who doesn't make a sound. She's a badass who takes on the gigantic rottweiler in PetCo (who just looked at her, confused as hell because she's knee-high on him). She's a furry lightning bolt who fake-growls, pounces on her chew toys, and then races in zig-zags around the apartment with them jingling in her mouth. She's a spy on a secret mission, and the answer is hiding behind the clothes in our closet, where she goes to hide after a spazzy episode (clues are in mon coeur's dress socks, which were systematically rearranged around the bedroom so she could decode them). She is also a cruelly mistreated waif, whose owners put her in jail (kennel) on a regular basis, where she is brutally tortured by... nothing.

We are in love with this dog.

The AC has been broken at work since Saturday morning, the owner can't afford to shut down, and customers aren't smart enough to stay away, so it's been crazy, frustrating, and exhausting. It was 92 degrees in there when I left work today, dehydrated and almost a bit dizzy.

Who's the happiest girl in the world to have tomorrow off? That would be me.

Plus, Miller's back in town for his summer internship and I am several shades of thrilled.
