The Terrier That Ate New York City
2008-05-11 - 9:05 p.m.

Feeling: silly
Listening to: movie
Reading/Watching: Dan in Real Life

This was prompted by a very funny conversation in the car, which turned into an ongoing list. So, without further ado:

Things My Dog Has Eaten* in the Past Year:

Flip-flops
Toilet paper/Kleenex
Squeaky stuffed dog toys (6)
Bic pen and cap
Cockroaches (I'm actually kinda happy about that)
Tempura-battered mushrooms
Carpet (every corner in the apartment)
Black and red feather boa
Pez dispenser with Piglet head
Scented votive candle
Plastic to-go cup of ranch dressing (incl. container)
Phone chargers (2)
My dirty underwear (lost count)
Mon coeur's dirty socks
Maxi pads (until we started putting the garbage can on top of the toilet tank)
The buttons and lapels on 2 shirts
Fortune cookie (incl. wrapper)
Plastic cutlery (lost count)
Slats of vertical blinds
Slats of horizontal blinds
Battery charger for the X-Box controller
USB connector for the digital camera
My $400 night guard (yay for stressful jobs and teeth-grinding!)
A treble fish hook, sporting a sponge soaked in stink bait

So at this point, it's almost a contest, to see how much more she can take. If she can pull off swallowing swords or fire, we're totally taking her on the road.

*eaten = consumed, swallowed, and/or chewed to the point of total destruction

List does not include food, treats, rawhide chews, or any other normally edible objects which were given to her on purpose.
