I'll make this one short.

I heard back from the company that recently made me so ecstatic before. Farrar, Straus & Giroux is not interested in publishing my novel.

They say thanks, it was good, very realistic, but the characters' voices are hard to distinguish, you end up "wanting more" from the characters, and it's too similar to another they're currently publishing.

So. Yeah. Don't worry, my sobbing spell only lasted about five minutes.

The disheartening truth is, I'm back at square one.
