Okay, so I feel like being a teenager again. I have a pimple above my nose.

Did I say pimple? I meant a red volcano lodged between my eyebrows that now further accents the Neanderthal-esque overhang of my forehead and reminds me twangily of its presence every time I make any manner of facial expression involving the movement of my eyebrows (meaning constantly).

So I'm sitting here, looking quite lovely with my swollen head, a makeshift ice pack to the offending area to combat one screaming walrus of a headache, unable to wear my glasses due to ice pack but also unable to wear contacts due to headache, and thereby: unable to see.

If anyone comes looking for me, I'll be the whiny, squinting girl watching Kazaa-ed Buffy reruns on her laptop, hair in a messy ponytail, wearing white tube socks and a black t-shirt that reads: "I hear voices, and they don't like you."

And I was wondering why I'm spending my Friday night in front of the computer screen...?
