Reading/Watching: Stephen King's "The Stand" (miniseries, not book)

My Other Mom has decided that all men should be forced (or requested; mon coeur objects to my use of the word "forced") to read their girlfriend's three favorite romances.

Not necessarily bodice-ripping, bosom-heaving, "Spank me, Captain" type stories, but more like the kind of relationships that we envy and sigh over on the page. Written by women, for women.

It would clear up so much.

Of course, I don't exactly see mon coeur slogging through Pride and Prejudice any time soon. Men usually draw the line at Jane Austen.
