We are just so different. I'm San Antonio, little French caf�s, artsy films, alternative & country, Jane Austen, and Eddie Izzard. He's Chicago, open-24-hour pancakes, action movies, rap & hip-hop, anime, and Eddie Murphy.

It was never more obvious than last night.

Goodbyes usually last thirty minutes. This time it was scarcely as many seconds.

I was ready to have a great time. I'd even put on some "going-on-a-hot-date" style undies & push-up bra (as opposed to "ho-hum-Monday-classes" briefs & underwire scaffolding). The boy completely destroyed his chance of seeing them. Grrr.
