Ooooh! Looky what I did! ^Up there!^ (The image to the far left is my favorite. No makeup, bed hair, and I still look cute. So yay for me.)

Hee. I know I usually say self-deprecating things about my layout, but I really like this one. If there were a way to do frames without having them duplicate every time you read a new entry, I'd make the top table a frame so the entry could scroll up underneath it.

I was feeling lazy today, wondering what I should do with my time, when I decided to make a new picture for the message board I'm on.

Then I started taking random snapshots of things around my room, and that graduated into a photo shoot, where I held the camera at arm's length and made the worst faces possible (it keeps me humble). Be grateful, some of those were in the running for the top graphics and didn't make it. The cartoon one just barely beat out a pic where I resembled Winston Churchill, and another where I had Janis Joplin hair.

Only question remaining is what color to make the main body of the text. The cyan was getting on my nerves. White is too obvious. Light gray seems too colorless, light blue is so easter-y... I guess we'll settle for this grey-blue right now. (It has to be grEy-blue, because it's just such a British color...)

Any other suggestions? I'm being industrious this weekend.

Of course, I'm not very good at it... I started messing with the camera around 2 o'clock this afternoon, and look- it took ten hours to finally get this new layout done.

By the way, if any of you suggest I go borrow a layout from some cutesy web designer, I'll come after you with a dull ice pick. My ideas may not be revolutionary, but no one can ever accuse me of non-creativity.

Ha, and some girl left me a note saying I should apply for her award. "We all need a good ego stroke," I believe she said. It sounded vaguely pornographic.

Basically, it spurred me on to finally delete my diary review links and swear off the system entirely. This is for ME. And, to some extent, for you. :o� I personally give it an A-plus.
