Today, my journal caused a number of quiet reflections, some of which I wish to share with the rest of you.

1) Way too many people search Google for the word "loritab". Yes, it's a powerful painkiller (hydrocodone, 7.5/500 mg, to be exact). Yes, I am taking it. No, I will not sell it to you.

2) People, the song is "Everything You Want" by Vertical Horizon. Stop Googling it and just ask someone who was born before 1990! (Some of my crappiest entries have the highest click-through rate, because they contain song lyrics.)

3) My site has no porn. Stop thinking my site will have porn. Despite references to jerking him off and sexy nun, my site is porn-less.

4) Anyone who thinks joining a diary ring will get them more hits is a moron. I have had this journal since 2000, and I've been found via diary ring maybe five times.

5) Mike, I cannot believe you still read this thing.

6) This journal has been visited over 40,000 times since I got a gold membership just over 2 years ago.

7) If Diaryland and LiveJournal try any harder to copy each other's good ideas, they will eventually fuse to form one entity.

8) Lindsy, stop reading and get back to work.

Today the doctor looked over my jagged purple smile and said it looked "great". (Not the word I would have used, but doctors are odd like that.) He also said my cyst was benign, so yay for no cancer. And the nurse who took my medical history was rather taken aback when she asked for my sexual history and I said I had none. She looked so surprised, it was almost amusing. I guess they're not accustomed to having twenty-two-year-old virgins in the ob-gyn clinic.

...And I forgot to get a doctor's note to excuse me from missing 13 days of school. Dammit.
